Hi, I’m Tryn Rose. For many years, I’ve had the privilege of serving people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, as well as the spouses, siblings, friends, and professional caregivers who support them. I believe deeply that when we share a photo, a song, or a story, something beautiful happens. People who feel lost become found again. We laugh, we cry, we remember ourselves. And life feels lighter.
Stories connect us. They help us understand each other, value one another, and carry joy into even the most difficult days. That’s why I write, sing, and share, because trust, comfort, and ease grow in those tender moments. And when there’s trust, the everyday tasks of caregiving can become infused with joy and meaning.
My many years as a caregiver, Life Enrichment coordinator, and Alzheimer’s Association programs director inspired my book, 15 Minutes of Fame: One Photo Does Wonders to Bring You Both Back to Solid Ground. It offers simple, heartfelt strategies to bring comfort, connection, and even delight into daily life.
I continue to share stories and reflections, but I would love to hear yours. Caregiving is never a one-way path. It’s a circle of giving and receiving, learning and teaching, celebrating and remembering.

My Philosophy
I’m all about Alzheimer’s, and everybody else. The closer these two categories get, the better off we are as human beings, as a country, and as a home where hope can sustain us.
If I were unable to say what I wanted, I would want my family and friends to bring my mountain dulcimer to play music on, play Steve Martin and Chevy Chase movies, alternated with nature shows, fasten on my favorite amber necklace and dress me in my red wool sweater and the jeans that aren’t too loose or too tight, but are just right.
Now my family (and now you!) know what I want because I wrote it here! In addition to 15 Minutes of Fame, I also wrote my ‘Five Wishes’ Document so people in my life know what I want, even if I can’t say it.
Please reach out with your story, your hopes, your fears, and your needs. I continue to share stories and reflections, but I would love to hear yours. Caregiving is never a one-way path. It’s a circle of giving and receiving, learning and teaching, celebrating and remembering.
